GL1800 Shock Upgrade Options

- Race Tech offers all GL1800 owners two different shock upgrade options to choose from. -

The first option is to have the stock shock rebuilt internally with our Gold Valve Conversion Kit and resprung with a High Performance Spring. Our second option is a complete G3-S Custom Series Shock, with a rebound adjuster, also sprung and valved specifically to the rider's spec.

The benefit of either upgrade far surpasses the capability and ride of the stock unit. The revised damping will increase bottoming resistance while improving the comfort of the ride. Each modification is built to the rider's preference and guaranteed to impress.

GL1800 GOLD VALVE SHOCK CONVERSION

Option 1 - The first option to improve a Goldwing's ride is by improving the stock shock's performance and capabilities by installing our Gold Valve Conversion Kit. With a slight modification, the stock shock can be fully rebuildable. For the kit price stated below we'll install our Gold Valve Conversion Kit, with custom settings, and provide the correct spring rate for your riding style and comfort. Guaranteed!

GL1800 G3-S CUSTOM SERIES SHOCK

Option 2 - The second option is to have a complete Custom G3-S Shock built. These Shocks include an external Rebound Adjuster and will come valved and sprung specifically for the customer's riding style and comfort. Guaranteed!

GL1800 SHOCK CORE CHARGE PROGRAM

All GL1800 Shock work is performed exclusively at Race Tech inc. Each shock is subject to a $200.00 core charge if a stock GL1800 replacement shock isn't received prior to the invoice date. All core exchanges must be received by Race Tech within 30 days from the date of invoice to receive credit.

$200 Shock & Electric Preload Unit Core Charge Refund:

The shock absorber must be in rebuildable condition with no physical damage.
The Electric Hydraulic Preload unit must function correctly; motor must work generating preload.
Leaking oil seal is ok. Damaged hose is ok.
Core exchange must be received with in 30 days of invoice date.
