Matechuck entered the Saturday qualifying session with 2 specific goals. #1 - to set a new track record, #2 - take pole position. The young Cochrane teen put his head down and by lap three in his 20 minute session, accomplished both. With a time of 1:07.0 Matechuk earned his 5th lap record of 2009 (in only 6 events).

Shannon Moham Finishes Season With Three Class Championships and 4 Track Records!
Moham took home the coveted class championships in Lightweight Endurance, Supertwins GTU, and Modern Vintage GTU.
“What helped clinch the championship and make the four track records possible were the incredible Michelin tires and an upgrade to RaceTech’s G3-S Piggyback Reservoir Shock and 25mm fork kit.“The bottom line,” said Moham, “was the amazing difference Race Tech suspension made in our season. We could not have won these Championships and set so many track records without the incredible support of Race Tech.”
